SAVE THE DATE!!

Hello all!

The Teen Advisory Board has been busier than ever recently: we've been working with artist
Mitch Cope on the Tree of Heaven project that has seemingly engulfed the Noguchi Museum. We've said farewell to the monumental ailanthus ("Tree of Heaven") tree that existed for so many years in the center of the museum's garden, but welcomed the new products that will arise from the wood that remains. TAB has been documenting the whole process of the project by means of audio recordings, which will be broadcast in the near future with oversight of the artist collective/project Neighborhood Public Radio. Our piece will be featured with NPR's (not to be confused with National Public Radio) contribution to the 2008 Whitney Biennial exhibition. These are exciting times for TAB!

inSIGHT: A workshop for teens interested in pursuing careers in the arts

This event is especially exciting as we continue with our "by teens, for teens" motto and present to you a panel discussion and open workshop geared for teens and young adults who express interest in following an arts-related career path. Come meet with local arts professionals who will join us to share their opinions, advice and insight on working in the art world.

Keep checking the blog for more information as the date nears, or visit our Facebook event and RSVP!
